¡Muchisimas Gracias! Thanks to EVERYBODY WHO HELPED US CELEBRATE THE GREAT FEAST OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE with so much enthusiasm and love. Everything was really great, the Masses, the decorations, the flowers, the music, the dramas, the matachines, the morning procession, the Jamaica, the food, the games, the raffle! ¡Nos Aventamos! We can really be proud of and grateful for each other! What a parish! You really are something special!!

The Jamaica and Raffle brought in a well over $180,000; we’ll get you the breakdown. Anyhow, we paid for that beautiful truck (Tax Title & License! too!) and made a sweet profit in honor of Our Lady for our beloved Parish, bouncing back from the pandemic!!

This weekend we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent and the coming of Christmas. Last Sunday was our great Jamaica & Raffle! San Juanita Pacheco Celez won the “macho truck”! Monday was the beautiful Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Friday was the 1st Posada! And Albert & Brandy’s wedding! Wednesday is the “big Posada”, bonfire, etc. Great days and nights leading us to the most marvelous night we long to savor, share and celebrate. Next Saturday is Christmas Eve already! Are you all ready? Me neither! But that really is a big part of the mystery. You don’t have to be ready! Nobody’s really ready and it’s a beautiful night and day in the neighborhood and in the story of our lives. God’s love incarnated in, illuminating, and invigorating the mystery, nobility and adventure of the whole journey of our lives with all our joys and sorrows, thrills and heartaches, delights and disasters. Through it all, by way of it all, He loves us, He encourages us. He nourishes us. He saves us! His light is strong. His love is near! He comes to us through each other as we celebrate Christmas 2022! That’s really something to celebrate and nobody does it like we do! Sure is sweet to be here together!
